The records-keeping authority announced Friday morning that Psy’s Gangnam Style broke the record for “Most Likes on YouTube” with 2,141,758. That breaks the previous record set by LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem (1,574,963), Justin’s Bieber’s Baby (1,327,147) and Adele’s Rolling in the deep (1,245,641). He was just mentioned as being some kind of internet joke, a guy who does a silly little dance when in fact he has been a huge artist in South Korea for many years and has a lot of talent. He had to stop Ellen and introduce himself and where he was from, because nobody was actually polite enough to do it for him. I felt really embarrassed for him. Britney seemed to think he was just some random weirdo foreigner. And Simon Cowell wouldn’t even get up and dance or properly acknowledge him, which I think is pretty disrespectful.
